Earth Heroes and Moon Aliens

A group of heroes in their rocketship.

They have lifted off from the Earth and the Aliens are already landing on the Moon.  Elastowit 60mm figures.

They are ready for take off from their Moon base.

The rocket has blasted off.

Figure Conversion to James Bond

This figure is a 1/75th scale cheap plastic civilian figure sold by a variety of companies on eBay and Amazon.  They come without a base that I have added from sheet plastic.

Here the same pose with the hat cut off and layers of aluminum foil at the neck to make a jobot, a sort of tie made of lace.

I cut these to figures apart, one is wounded and his partner is helping him.

The little white shield is the sporran, several can be seen in the above photos.  I always keep all the bits because they usually get used at some point.

James Bond from On Her Majesty's Secret Service in dress kilt.  He still needs more paint but the actual conversion work has been done and he has been mounted on his proper base.

The base is what I use for my super heroes, and other major figures.  I put the name of the figure on the little plaque on the front of the base and I put data on the bottom of the base that shows the abilities of the personality.

Kilts and Thank You

I am trying to build figures based on the various James Bond movies from the original Eon Productions movies.

This is from On His Majesty's Secret Service version in a kilt.

He is not done but he is well on his way, mostly needing just painting.  He is based on an Airfix Highland Infantry figure that I got from a kind man in my Facebook Airfix group.

I asked for a few kilted figures for a special project.

Wayne Ward was kind enough to send me these figures for free, he even paid for postage!

My plan was to make James Bond in a kilt from the movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

And three Molls for Batman 66 TV series, episode Chandell.

 I am sure they will all be used in one guise or another.
